Fraser Helps Those Less Fortunate With Holiday Philanthropy

Holiday PhilanthropyEach year for the holidays, Fraser Advanced Information Systems takes on a holiday philanthropy to help those less fortunate.  This year, our Fun and Charitable Events Committee selected the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.  The Angel Tree program started in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1979.  The program provides gifts of new clothing and toys to thousands of children who otherwise might not have anything for Christmas.

Through the Salvation Army's Hamburg Service Center, Fraser adopted 25 children and 25 elderly in Berks County.  Employees received an angel card that had the first name of a person, their age and what they might need for the holidays.  Armed with their lists, staff went to work shopping for their person.  On Friday, December 7th, the Salvation Army came to Fraser to collect all of the gifts for our 50 recipients.

Congratulations to our Fun and Charitable Event Committee co-chairs Rachel Hartman and Megan Good who ran an outstanding program for us this holiday season.  We are so pleased to be able to help those in need.  Happy holidays!
